Mellon Initiative Update: CCs and the Humanities in the 21st Century

Mellon Initiative Update: Community Colleges and the Humanities in the 21st Century

We wanted to update our members on a current initiative from the Mellon Foundation focusing on Community Colleges and the Humanities in the 21st Century. Several CCHA member institutions are involved in these programs, including CCHA’s home institution, the Community College of Baltimore County; and also the home institution of long-time board member Chancellor Constance Carroll, The San Diego Community College District.

Whether you are involved with one of these institutions or not, this is still a great initiative for the humanities in the nation’s community colleges. More information about this initiative can be found here.
